NPM Motionnet

Motionnet is a high-speed serial communication protocol developed by Nippon Pulse Motor for motion control systems. It is designed to make multi-axis coordination simpler, reduce wiring, and enable real-time control across controllers, drivers, and I/O devices in automation and machine systems.

Because Motionnet delivers deterministic communication with low latency, it keeps multiple motion axes tightly in sync without the delays that can affect more general-purpose networks. It is used as an integrated communication solution across NPM products including PULSERVO systems, Motionnet-compatible drivers, and LSIs that support motion networking functions.
