Yamaha FLIP-X Multi-Robot System
The Yamaha FLIP-X Multi-Robot system allows multiple single-axis robots to be controlled using one controller. It provides a compact and flexible solution for automation systems that require multiple axes and coordinated movement. The system supports both MULTI-FLIP and MULTI-PHASER configurations. FLIP-X and PHASER linear single-axis robots can also be mixed when using the RCX320 or RCX340 controller. Up to 16 robot units can be controlled in one system.
Multiple-robot settings allow independent and asynchronous movement, while multi-task programming provides greater flexibility in robot operation. Double-carrier and dual-drive configurations are also available for applications that require additional axes, higher loads or greater thrust.
The RCX320 and RCX340 controllers support up to 100 programs and 30,000 points. Network options include CC-Link, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, Ethernet, PROFIBUS, PROFINET and EtherCAT.
