NPM gLESS™ Magnetic Counterbalance System

The NPM gLESS™ is a magnetic counterbalance system designed for vertical axis linear servo applications. It uses magnetic force to offset the weight of the load, so the motor does not have to work against gravity on every move.

This lets you use a smaller motor, cut energy use, and get more stable servo control overall. Unlike mechanical springs, the gLESS™ produces consistent force across the full stroke range regardless of position. Magnetic flux leakage is kept below 30mT, so it can sit close to shaft motors and encoders without causing interference.

Available in three sizes: GLS-130 with 2.66N thrust, GLS-180 with 6.1N thrust, and GLS-260 with 19.6N thrust. All models offer a 40mm operating stroke.
