TNU Controller Series

The TNU Network Unit is a fieldbus-compatible controller accessory designed to enable multi-axis control and reduce system wiring. By connecting THK servo driver controllers (TLC and THC) to a PLC through a fieldbus network, the TNU significantly minimizes wiring compared to conventional I/O connections. A single dedicated communication cable can be used to link the network unit with each driver controller.

Using one TNU in combination with branch units, up to 16 axes of mixed TLC and THC controllers can be connected and controlled within a single system. This architecture improves system scalability, simplifies installation, and enhances maintainability in multi-axis automation environments. The TNU is ideal for applications requiring centralized control, compact wiring layouts, and efficient expansion of THK electric actuator systems.
