The Yamaha XY-X Series Moving Arm Type Cartesian Robot is a high-performance multi-axis configuration designed for precision transfer, assembly, and positioning applications. Unlike fixed-arm structures, the moving arm design enables extended reach with optimised load distribution along the travel axis, making it well suited for medium to heavy-duty automation systems.

Available in two-axis and three-axis configurations, this series integrates high-rigidity ball screw drive systems with Yamaha AC servo motors and RCX controllers for smooth and accurate motion control. The moving arm structure allows the working envelope to extend beyond the base footprint, making it a practical option for applications where the robot needs to reach across or into adjacent workstations without requiring a larger overall installation footprint.
