THK VR Cross-Roller Guide
The THK VR Cross-Roller Guide is designed for smooth and accurate linear motion. It uses precision rollers arranged at right angles inside a roller cage. The cage runs along a dedicated rail with a V-shaped raceway.
Two VR units can be mounted in parallel to support loads in four directions. A preload can also be applied to remove clearance and improve rigidity. This provides stable and precise movement with low friction and wear.
The THK VR Cross-Roller Guide is available in sizes VR1 to VR18. Basic dynamic load ratings range from 0.152 to 40.9 kN per roller, depending on the model. Stainless steel versions are also available for improved corrosion resistance.
