Yamaha RCXiVY2+ Robot Vision System

The Yamaha RCXiVY2+ is an integrated robot vision system designed to simplify vision-guided robot operations. It combines the robot, camera, lighting and vision functions with the Yamaha robot controller, allowing the system to be controlled through the robot program.

The RCXiVY2+ supports RCX320, RCX340 and RCX341 controllers. It supports camera resolutions from 400,000 pixels to 5,000,000 pixels and can register up to 254 workpiece models. Up to two cameras can be connected directly, or up to eight cameras when a HUB is used.

Vision functions include edge search, measurement, blob search and code search, with position detection, coordinate conversion, automatic point data generation, and distortion and inclination correction. The system can also detect randomly placed parts, adjust part orientation, perform top and bottom judgement, and support OK/NG judgement.

RCXiVY2+ Studio provides tools for calibration, workpiece registration, monitoring and vision setup. Optional tracking and lighting control functions are also available for conveyor tracking and controlled illumination.
