The Yamaha Robonity Advanced Model Timing Belt Drive Type (AGBS Series) is a high-performance single-axis robot designed for linear motion applications requiring fast acceleration, wide stroke capability, and smooth travel with minimal vibration. Its timing belt drive mechanism with precision pulleys and rugged construction delivers long travel distances with reliable positioning and excellent dynamic response.
Compared to ball screw driven models, the belt drive mechanism of the AGBS series enables faster travel speeds over longer strokes, making it a practical choice for transfer, indexing, and positioning tasks across automated production lines where travel distance and speed are prioritised. Coming complete with an AC servo motor as part of a full servo control system, the AGBS simplifies selection and integration compared to the motor-less LGBS series.
