Yamaha YP-X Series 4-Axis Pick & Place Robots

The Yamaha YP340X four-axis pick and place robot integrates X, Y, Z linear axes with an R-axis rotation unit in a compact, high-speed configuration. Designed for precision assembly, orientation control, and high-throughput automation, the YP340X combines ball screw accuracy with servo-driven performance for stable and repeatable motion.

The added R-axis rotation allows the end effector to adjust part orientation during transfer, eliminating the need for a separate rotary stage in applications such as component placement, orientation correction, and assembly tasks requiring both linear positioning and rotational alignment. The YP340X is controlled by the RCX340-4 controller and supports programming, I/O point trace, remote command, and RS-232C communication for integration into existing automation systems.
