ELM Millet Series Linear Encoders

The ELM Millet Series is a high-precision, non-contact linear encoder available in both incremental and absolute variants, designed for demanding motion control and positioning applications. Its reflective photoelectric system delivers accurate and repeatable position feedback without physical contact, eliminating wear and signal degradation over the encoder’s service life.

The incremental Millet Series supports resolutions as fine as 0.02 micrometres with ABZ digital or optional 1Vpp analog output. The absolute Millet20A Series provides true position data immediately on power-up without requiring a homing cycle, with a resolution of 0.0125 micrometres and BiSS C or SSI output. Both variants are compatible with a wide range of servo drives and motion controllers, making them well suited for precision automation, semiconductor handling, and other applications requiring high-resolution position feedback.
