THK EPF Finite Stroke Caged Ball LM Guide

THK EPF is a miniature caged ball LM Guide designed for short-stroke linear motion. Its finite-stroke design keeps the balls from circulating, which helps provide smooth motion with low variation in rolling resistance. It is also suited to applications that require high accuracy.

The EPF uses four rows of balls with a 45° contact angle. This provides four-way equal load and allows installation in different orientations. Its DB construction also gives high rigidity against moment loads when using a single rail.

THK EPF is available in sizes 7, 9, 12 and 15. The series uses a plastic ball cage that reduces metal contact, helping lower noise and dust while retaining lubricant in grease pockets for long maintenance-free operation. The LM Guide is also dimensionally interchangeable with the miniature THK RSR-N.
