THK RAU & RAUV Cross-Roller Ring
THK RAU and RAUV are cross-roller rings designed for compact rotary mechanisms. Their small cross-sectional area helps reduce the size and weight of equipment. The integrated inner and outer ring structure supports both inner and outer ring rotation.
The RAU uses a spacer retainer for low friction and stable rotational torque. It is available as a 5 mm thin type and an RA interchangeable type. The RAUV uses a full-roller design and is suited to low-speed rotary applications with higher loads.
The RAU 5 mm thin type is available from 10 to 100 mm shaft diameters. The interchangeable RAU type covers 50 to 200 mm. RAUV models are also available from 50 to 200 mm. THK lists radial basic dynamic load ratings of 1.12 to 3.37 kN for the thin RAU type, 5.10 to 25.8 kN for the interchangeable RAU type, and 7.24 to 41 kN for RAUV.
