The Yamaha YK-XG Medium Type SCARA Robots deliver extended reach, higher payload capacity, and superior motion performance for demanding industrial automation applications. Building on Yamaha’s proven SCARA technology, the medium series expands into heavier-duty production environments requiring greater arm reach and load handling capability than compact models provide.

With arm lengths of 500mm and 600mm and payload capacities ranging from 5kg up to 20kg, the YK-XG Medium Type series offers flexibility for automotive component handling, electronics module assembly, packaging, and heavy pick and place applications where a compact SCARA would be underpowered but a large model would be unnecessarily oversized.
