Koganei KSHE Series Multi Orifice® Shock Absorbers

The Koganei KSHE Series is an adjustable, self-compensating multi orifice shock absorber built for high-speed impact applications. Its multi orifice structure closes the final orifice hole at the stroke end, so the full stroke should be used for proper energy absorption, unlike single or linear orifice designs. Absorption capacity is adjustable via a 0 to 6 scaled knob with a lock screw, and the series is available in five sizes (KSHE5×8 through KSHE12×22) with maximum absorption ranging from 5.6 J to 16.3 J, absorbing strokes of 8 to 22 mm, and impact speeds up to 1.4 m/s. Operating temperature range is 0 to 60°C, with a maximum deviation angle of 3°. Optional configurations include rod end cap, side or flange mounting brackets, and stopper nuts, and a sensor-switch variant (KSHES) is available for simultaneous position detection. Ideal for high-speed pneumatic cylinder cushioning across general automation and machinery applications.
