The Sanyo Denki SANMOTION F5 24 VDC 5-Phase Stepping Motor is a compact stepping motor designed for precise positioning and smooth motion control. The F5 motor lineup is available in 28 mm, 42 mm, and 60 mm square flange sizes, with a standard 0.72° step angle. The 28 mm models provide holding torque options of 0.062 N·m and 0.095 N·m, while the 42 mm models offer holding torque from 0.21 N·m to 0.54 N·m. The 60 mm models provide holding torque from 0.65 N·m to 2 N·m, with both 1.4 A/phase and 2.8 A/phase options available.
SANMOTION F5 motors can also be customised with spur gears, low-backlash gears, harmonic gears, electromagnetic brakes, encoders, and custom shafts, depending on the model and order requirements. Compared with previous SANMOTION F5 stepping motors, the new models offer up to 70% higher torque, more than 10% lower vibration, approximately 44% lower positioning error at stop, and reductions in overall length and mass.
