Del-Tron M-2 Miniature Ball Slide

The Del-Tron M-2 is a compact, ready-to-install ball slide for precise linear motion over short distances. It has a lightweight aluminium carriage and base, running on hardened steel shafts and balls ground over their entire length.

Each slide is preloaded at the factory to prevent side play and backlash, giving smooth, accurate motion with a very low friction coefficient of 0.003. The mounting surfaces are machined flat and parallel to the line of motion, giving straight line accuracy of 0.0005 inch per inch of travel. The ball bearings are self-cleaning and lightly lubricated during assembly, so no additional lubrication is needed in normal use. Built-in tapped holes in the carriage and counterbored holes in the base make installation simple.
