THK PHS Series Female thread Type Rod End

A rod end is a self-aligning spherical slide bearing with a spherical inner ring manufactured to the same precision and hardness as bearing steel balls. The mirror-finished sliding surfaces and rigid holder design enable play-free, extremely smooth rotation and oscillation, even under misalignment.

Model PHS incorporates a copper alloy liner with high conformability between the chromate-treated steel holder and the spherical inner ring. Only the spherical sliding area is hard chrome plated, resulting in high rigidity, excellent wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. A grease nipple allows lubrication as needed.
