Koganei ORCA/ORGA Series Slit Type Rodless Cylinders
The Koganei ORCA and ORGA Series Slit Type Rodless Cylinders use a bend-resistant and wear-resistant stainless chrome steel seal band, giving them better long-term performance and a longer service life than standard seal band designs.
The ORCA is the basic type, designed for space-saving installations where the total cylinder body length is roughly equal to the stroke length, taking up only half the installation space of conventional cylinders. It supports high-speed operation of up to 3000mm/s for bore sizes 25 and above, and features multiple piping port locations for flexible plumbing including one-side piping. It is available in bore sizes from 16mm to 50mm.
The ORGA adds a guide mechanism composed of a slider and cylinder body for greater accuracy and durability. With a maximum load capacity of up to 784.5N and a maximum bending moment of up to 112.8 N/m for the 50mm bore, the ORGA handles heavier loads while maintaining highly accurate operation. Stroke adjustment and shock absorber options are available for high-speed and precision stopping requirements.
Both series are available with a wide range of piston mounts, mounting brackets, sensor switch options, and fluoro rubber specifications to suit different application and environmental requirements.
