The THK MDK Series is a miniature precision ball screw with a screw shaft diameter from 4mm to 14mm and a lead from 1mm to 5mm. Since it’s mass-produced by cutting standardized precision ground screw shafts to length, the shaft ends can still be machined further by grinding or milling, and THK has standardized several shaft end shapes so it can be paired directly with matching support units.

This makes the MDK Series a practical choice for small, space limited equipment that still needs accurate, repeatable linear motion.
