Yamaha Flip-X N Type Nut Rotation Robot

The Yamaha FLIP-X N Type is a high-speed, long-stroke single-axis robot featuring a nut rotation ball screw mechanism, allowing stable high-speed operation over extended travel distances. Unlike conventional screw rotation types, the N Type rotates the ball nut while keeping the screw shaft fixed, reducing shaft vibration and enabling smooth motion even at long strokes where shaft whipping would otherwise become a limiting factor.

Designed for high-load, long-distance positioning applications, the N Type delivers excellent rigidity, repeatability of plus or minus 0.01mm, and payload capacity of up to 80kg depending on model. This makes it well suited for large transfer systems, gantry base axes, and heavy-duty automation applications requiring both extended travel and high positioning accuracy.
